When my fiancée and I were planning our wedding, I realised I was missing friends I could just hang out with. My childhood friends live far away. We still love each other, but between work, distance and our own plans, we only see each other a few times a year.
We both work from home, so we don't naturally meet many new people. We wanted to get to know someone we could grab a coffee with, head out with or make last-minute plans with. To have friends closer and be part of their everyday life.
